In 2006,
Yerevan Haybusak
University,
Armenian Open
University after L.
Kalashyan,
International
Relations Institute
after H. Lazaryan,
and
Yerevan Haybusak
University base
College joined
into a structure
called International
Academy of Education
in order to provide
for better and more
up-to-date education.
Ever since
private
education became
possible in
Armenia after
the collapse of
the Soviet Union
and the
Declaration of
Independence,
each of these
academic
institutions has
gone its own way
and has
contributed to
the development
of the private
academic sector
in its own way.
Their joint
efforts, it is
hoped, will be
even more
efficient,
especially now
that the
educational
system of the
whole Europe is
changing and we
have to adopt
the new
strategies and
principles of
the Bologna
treaty.
Some foreign
universities are
also members of
the IAE, such as
the Tripoli
University of
Lebanon and
Moscow
Publishing
University.
The
instruction in
the IAE is
carried out in
three languages,
Armenian,
Russian and
English, for our
foreign students
who do not
master Armenian. |
