Just about two
decades ago no
one could even
dream of such
times, times of
private
property, new
economic
relations,
alternative
education, and,
consequently,
alternative
thinking. Today
our country has
achieved such a
privilege after
enduring so much
hardship. We
have come to a
point when we
have to think of
occupying an
adequate place
among the
civilizations of
the world, when
we have to adopt
and develop the
ideals and
principles of
Democracy, when
we have to
strive for a
better life and
fast
improvement.
Today every
Armenian wishes
to live in a
thriving and
peaceful country
and to be
entitled to
decent
education.
The
members of
the
International
Academy of
Education
are
developing
together
with our
newly-independent
country and
they have
gone a long
way during
the last 15
years.
Yerevan
Haybusak
University,
Armenian
Open
University,
and the
Diplomacy
and Oriental
Studies
Institute
after H.
Lazarian
have
expanded
into an
extensive
structure
which offers
high-quality
education at
all levels
(primary,
secondary,
higher
education
and
post-graduate
studies).
During these
years, we
have
established
several
research
centeres, a
school, a
college, a
clinic, and
many other
departments.
We have
received
state
accreditation
as the
recognition
of our work
not only by
the people,
but also by
the state.
We still
have a long way
to go. Our goal
is to provide
best-quality
professional
education
consistent with
the demands of
the twentieth
century, both
for our
compatriots and
for foreign
students. We
believe that the
best way to
foretell the
future is to
build it. We
believe in
beautiful,
brilliant,
prosperous
future, and in
the people who
are going to
build it with
the help of
their knowledge,
their skills,
their
intellectual
potential, and
their education.
